THE THOUGHT BEHIND OUR PIZZERIA
Metsäketun Pizzeria is a dream of a restaurant where customers can enjoy incredible taste experiences in a wonderful farm environment. Our ingredients are the soul of our restaurant. At Metsäketun pizzeria, almost all ingredients come from producers as close as possible and from our own farm. Our dream is that in the future almost all ingredients would come from the fields and forests of our own farm, where the pizzeria is located as well.

METSÄKETUN PIZZERIA TAKE-AWAY
While our farm pizzeria is closed during the winter, Metsäketun Pizzeria's Take-Away pizza cart operates between November and April in Salo, in front of Giganti and Virtanenkauppa. Although the point of sale is different from our farm, our philosophy is still the same. The ingredients for our pizzas still come from producers as close as possible, some are grown by us ourselves, and we always prefer to choose organic. In the Menu section of our website, you can explore our food cart's pizza selection. Pizzas can always be ordered on site or by calling in advance.

Do you have an event or do you know of an event where you would like delicious artisan pizzas for sale?
Metsäketun Pizzeria has a new fantastic food cart that allows us to conjure up delicious pizzas for various events. We have been involved for two years, for example, in Fiskars Bike Expo and Herttoniemi Rhubarb Festival. We can conjure up pizzas for your event that will stay in the memory of your visitors and bring a smile to their faces.

WHAT, WHERE AND WHEN
The Metsäketun pizzeria pop-up operates from May to the end of September and aims to be open in Taivasmaa every Saturday, with a few exceptions. Below you can see when we are open in Taivasmaa and when we are somewhere else.
A limited number of pizza doughs are always made for each pop-up day, so by reserving your place you ensure your delicious moment on that day.
However, reserving a place is not mandatory. You can also call us on the day of the pop-up and check if there are still available pizza doughs, or come directly to us if you are otherwise nearby.
You don't need to eat at our place. Pizzas can always be take-away if you wish, either by having them ready for pick-up at the agreed time, or by telling us at the time of ordering that you want them to go.

Metsäketun pizzeria is located on the Taivasmaa farm in Kisko (Salo). The easiest way to get there is by car, as there is plenty of parking in front of the barn and in the lower field.
During the winter season, when our farm restaurant is closed, our Take-Away pizza cart operates in the center of Salo from November to April in front of Giganti and Virtanenkauppa.
There is a lot to see and experience around our farm restaurant! We have put together a map where you can see all our favorite places near us. Come and enjoy and relax with us and experience everything nice in the surroundings!
